By accessing or using the Skidit mobile applications and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services. Skidit operates primarily in Nigeria.

2. Description of Services

Skidit is a platform that connects individuals and businesses ("Users") seeking package delivery services with independent contractors ("Riders") willing to perform those services. Skidit itself does not provide delivery services and is not a transportation carrier.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Rider Responsibilities

• Riders operate as independent contractors and are not employees of Skidit.
• Riders must hold valid licenses and insurance as required by Nigerian law.
• Riders are strictly prohibited from transporting illegal, hazardous, or stolen goods.

5. Payments and Fees

• Users agree to pay all applicable fees for delivery services as presented in the App.
• Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers (e.g., Paystack).
• Skidit retains a portion of the delivery fee as a service charge.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other Users or Riders.
• Attempt to bypass or manipulate our payment systems or platform mechanics.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Skidit and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our Services.

8. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue our Services at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
